Choosing a career is a critical decision, you have options and you have to choose wisely. The choice you make is going to shape your future. While you are choosing your career after 12th Maths, you should definitely make a point to align with your passion. Otherwise, throughout your life you may be stuck in a job that you do not like. To prevent this from happening, carefully evaluate the options presented and go for the career option that you want to take.
The common choice that students make after studying maths in 12th is to go for Engineering degree. B. Tech or B. A course is much preferred career option. You would have to pass an entrance test for the purpose.
The IIT-JEE or AIEEE are the national level entrance exams that you would have to appear. Besides, there are different state level entrance exams. The dates of state level entrance exams are set in such a way that they do not clash with the national level exams and there should not be any problem in appearing for all these tests.
However, a sage advice here is to go for an Engineering degree only when you have deep passion of becoming an engineer. So many people opt for engineering that the market has become somewhat saturated, so take a wise decision.
Note :- Do not go for engineering just because your friends are going for it too.
Make a strong decision based upon your passion. If you are passionate about Maths, then go for B.Sc in Mathematics in any reputed college after 12th. A career in Mathematics is never out of demand.
There are exclusive B.Math courses available at the Indian Statistical Institute at Banglore www.isibang.ac.in and Chennai Mathematical Institute www.cmi.ac.in. These institutes have their own screening and evaluation process, so you have to prepare separately for them.
So, for the beginning maths is the most important and liking subject and if you like maths then always try to crack different tricks to solve the equations and practice as much as you can because practice makes a man perfect.
